CISCO NETWORKING ACADEMY PROFILE

In 1999, Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Indonesia begin to start cooperation with Cisco Networking Academy and become a regional academy, part of University of Technology Nanyang (NTU).

In 2000 we delivered CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associates) program for semester 1 to 4, preparing students to take the international CCNA certification. We intend to improve our graduate students with specialties especially with international recognition so they will ready for the competition of works with the other pre workers from all around the world not only from Indonesia.

In 2003 we delivered CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Profesional) programs for semester 5 (Building Scalable Cisco Internetwork). In mid 2004, we delivered the CCNP programs for semester 6.

Cisco Networking Academy Program Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Indonesia begin to extend the course and finally became a Cisco Academy Training Centre (CATC) for the sponsored curriculum which is delivering course such as : Fundamental of JAVA , Fundamental s of UNIX, Panduit Network Infrastructure Essential, and IT Essential 1 and 2. As CATC we delivered training course to instructors of RA, LA and to students.
